Spar Shop Bellabeg wins award

Out of 280 Spar shops in Scotland, the one in Bellabeg walked away with the award for Best Independent Shop of the Year! It was the first time Spar Scotland awarded this prize and Team Howse was rewarded for their amazing efforts. Jamie and Denise Howse, together with their staff, provide an invaluable service to the population of Strathdon and to those visiting the area. They are not 'normal' shopkeepers but they are running a true community hub where they treat all those who cross the threshold to a cheerful smile and they look out for those who are vulnerable and need that extra bit of TLC. It is safe to say that the local community is proud of this exceptional shop. Congratulations to Team Howse!
