Major felling activity in Murray Park

Friends of Murray Park

In the next few weeks major felling activity will be taking place in the Murray Park and on the land around the Curling Club. We need to sort out the wind-damaged timber before the spring. Major parts of the park will not be open for access when the timber is being felled and moved to where it can be picked up. The work is being undertaken by commercial contractors under a Felling Licence from Forest and Land Scotland and then replanting work will be undertaken over the next two years.
